Travel Advice for Coronavirus COVID-19 (Update 20)

31 March 2020

As of 30 March 2020, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has announced that the government is working in partnership with the airline industry in an effort to charter flights to help British people overseas to return home. Charter flights are being organised only for certain countries and further information can be found on the FCO website.

This follows previous FCO advisories:

  • 24th March 2020 - British travellers who wish to return home should do so now
  • 17th March 2020 - Advises against all but essential international travel

This latest FCO advisory also gives information for travellers who are unable to return home at this time, including following the advice of local authorities.
