Measles Requirements for American Samoa, Republic of Marshall, Solomon Islands, and Tokelau

23 December 2019

An outbreak of measles is currently affecting a number of the Pacific Islands. As a result, some of the islands in the region are about to introduce new entry requirements for certain travellers to proove immunity to measles either through previous vaccination or previous measles infection.

Travellers planning to visit the Pacific islands should check with the embassy if any new requirements are in place prior to travel. Foreign Embassy contacts can be found on the FCO website. We will update the relevant country advice pages when further information is available.
