Botswana Specific Risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This country has reported a recent increase in case numbers and/or emerging or known variants of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Following a review of the public health risk assessment process, this country has changed to a high risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Advice for Travellers

There is a high risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19) in this country and/or emerging or known variants of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Travellers should be aware that the risk of COVID-19 in this country may change at short notice. They must also consider the risk of exposure in transit countries and during their journey.

All travellers are advised to avoid non-essential travel to this country. This applies even to travellers who are fully vaccinated.
