Country Specific Risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) (Update 29)

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) provides guidance on COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 risks overseas. The FCDO currently advises against all but essential travel to many countries and territories on the basis of the COVID-19 related risks.

Travel advice, including localised restrictions and self-isolation (quarantine) rules have been implemented across the UK, different rules apply in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

These rules can change rapidly, travellers should therefore be advised to follow the latest guidance according to their location, and also check the guidance regularly before, during and after travel.

Country Specific COVID-19 Risk  

All TRAVAX country pages include a COVID-19 country specific risk-rating which identifies each country as having a high, moderate or low risk of exposure to COVID-19 for UK travellers.

  • This risk rating can be found in the 'Emerging Health Risks' drop down on every country page and each rating is accompanied by appropriate travel advice.

The COVID-19 risk rating is being kept under constant review and may change at short notice.
