Update on Supply of Hepatitis A Vaccines

Latest update following ongoing reports of interruptions to the supply of Hepatitis A vaccines:

Havrix Monodose® and Havrix Junior Monodose®

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) have announced that they are introducing Havrix Monodose® vials to the UK market. Havrix Monodose® and Havrix Junior Monodose® vials will be available for order from 23/11/2015. There is however a maximum order quantity of 20 per month.

GSK anticipate that the pre-filled syringe format of Havrix Monodose® will be back in stock Q1 2016.

AVAXIM® and VAQTA®

Sanofi Pasteur MSD have supplies of AVAXIM®, VAQTA® Adult and VAQTA® Paediatric (hepatitis A vaccines). Orders being filled as normal.

Epaxal

MASTA have confirmed that Epaxal (hepatitis A) vaccine remains out of stock until February 2016, at the earliest. MASTA can also supply VAQTA® Adult and VAQTA® Paediatric (hepatitis A vaccines).They expect to be out of stock for Havrix Monodose until February 2016.
