Login Help
Logging in to the New TRAVAX
Old-style logins no longer provide access to TRAVAX. From 1
March 2012, All users need a new-style login.
- NHS Scotland: you can register by
completing the registration form.
- NHS Wales: you can access TRAVAX free
via the HOWIS
intranet
Alternatively, you can register for your own account
by completing the registration form (subscription charge
will apply).
- NHS England and NI: you may be entitled
to access TRAVAX free under a collective (group) subscription. You
need to contact the group account holder (usually at the PCT or GP
Practice) to request this. If unsure
whether you are covered under a collective subscription enquire by
contacting the TRAVAX
Administrator. If you are not covered under a
collective subscription you can register for your own account by
completing the registration form (subscription charge will
apply).
- Other enquiries: to request a new TRAVAX
subscription, please complete the registration form (subscription charge will
apply).
For all other enquiries, please contact the TRAVAX

Forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password there is a password
reminder function.
Click on the password reminder link, enter your
email address for the account and click submit. You will be
sent a message with a password to this email address.
If you have forgotten your email address you will need to
contact either the TRAVAX Administrator or if
you are part of a Group Account your account administrator.
Login details not working
The most common login error reported involves a conflict with
stored passwords and this can prevent you from accessing the
website.
To resolve this problem depends on the internet browser you
use:
Internet Explorer 6
- Click on the 'Tools' option from the menu, and then 'Internet
Options'.
- This opens a new dialog box with several tabs along the top.
Click on the 'Content' tab.
- Click on the button 'AutoComplete' under the 'Personal
Information' heading.
- Click on the 'Clear Passwords' option. Confirm that you want to
clear all previously saved passwords.
- Click 'OK' on until all dialog boxes are closed.
Internet Explorer 7
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools in the menu bar
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Delete button
- Click on the Delete Passwords... button
- Click on Yes
Internet Explorer 8
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools in the menu bar
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on the Delete button
- Tick Passwords checkbox (it is not necessary to tick other
boxes)
- Click on Delete
Firefox
- Click Tools > Options
- Click the Privacy icon on the left
- Expand Saved Passwords
- Uncheck Remember Passwords if it is checked
- Click View Saved Passwords
- Under the Passwords Saved tab, you can choose to Remove All or
just the entry for WebCT (ecourses.purdue.edu).
- Click Close and OK to exit
